What started out as a hobby and wanting to teach their children valuable life lessons about entrepreneurship, has turned into a full scale retail store and not one, but two businesses! Hayden and Laura Simons started the Tac-Torch flashlight business as a way to share their passion of building a brand from the ground up with their small children. From designing to packaging, it became a full family affair! Interest quickly took off and they continued to visualize other ways to keep the brand growing! And that’s when things got interesting! 

Offering engraved logos and names on the flashlights was a way to market Tac-Torch on a whole different level. Before you knew it, they were not only engraving flashlights, but tumblers and cutting boards as well, and one small laser engraving machine turned into three. 

In 2020, Burnin’ Love Laser Engraving was formed and they haven’t looked back since! Initially working out of their garage, Laura realized to keep growing, they needed more space and in February 2022, she opened a retail location in Bartlett, TN with 3 employees and a large variety of items to offer! 

Driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit that turned a flashlight hobby into a bustling laser engraving retail store, they once again recognized an opportunity to continue growing the brand. After working closely with business clients who were looking for a one stop shop for all things promotional - in July of 2022,  901 Promo was created - offering a comprehensive range of promotional products all under one roof!

Laura, owner and designer, helps run and manage the office, including the engravers, all while still providing that personal touch to each order. She takes the time to talk to the customer, getting to know them and their story and makes sure their item is perfect. Hayden runs the behind the scenes details, managing the finances and helps out with the more challenging engraving jobs. 

To keep things running smoothly, it takes a team and teamwork makes the dreamwork!

Meet our team:

Shana {Office Manager} Shana takes care of all of us in the office and every customer that comes in the door.  She is thoughtful, dependable, and caring.  Shana is a great team member because she’ll do whatever it takes to help us succeed.  Most importantly, she keeps the office kitchen stocked with the candy we need to keep us moving through the day!

Sharoela {Engraver} Shareola comes in with a warm smile every day and we love how much pride she takes in her work.  She stays busy making sure all of our cups and bottles are engraved with care so our customers are happy every time.

Ryan {Engraver} Ryan is a hard working college student.  We are so thankful for the initiative he shows in learning the machines and all they are capable of.  He is a problem solver, a dependable teammate, and his play list keeps us all dancing in the office.

Amber {Designer} Amber has a God given talent for design and is the sweetest member on our team.  She works so hard and constantly exceeds customer expectations with her design ideas.  Having her jump in to own design has been a huge help!

Chloe {Social Media Manager} Chloe captures our behind-the-scenes moments and stunning photos of your completed masterpieces, sharing the magic with our followers.

Michele {Sales/Marketing} Michele is the ultimate problem solver and magic maker in the office.  Her passion for customer satisfaction keeps us all striving for excellence.  Her favorite quote is, “we’ve got this!”  Some might say she’s bossy…and we agree!

Together, they are the “magic makers”, creating personalized items and custom gifts that makes every customer say “Wow!”
